Chris Brown admits he assaulted Rihanna

Chris Brown has admitted that to assaulting Rihanna stating he was 'arrogant and hotheaded.' During a radio interview, the recording artist told the host that he knew that no one would ever forget the night he assaulted his girlfriend before the February 2009 Grammy's, but as he prepared to release his new album, he was hoping to put at least some of that old drama behind him, the US magazine reported.
Asked whether he blamed his youth for the violent outburst, which left his girlfriend's face bruised and swollen, the 23-year-old "Don't Judge Me" singer replied that blaming his age would be an excuse.

He added that at the age of 18-19, if he was capable of writing and producing songs, then he was also capable of making the right choices.

Brown admitted, however, that he was 'arrogant and definitely hotheaded' at that age.

He said that everybody has a temper, but for him, he did not know how to control it at a time when he thought that the world was in his hands.

The star also revealed that he learnt the most important lessons after the incident that suddenly turned his image from good to bad. The singer who reunited with Rihana recently added that he thought he is becoming older and trying to be mature in the public eye.
