After much anticipation, General Motors has finally released the 2013 model of its top selling vehicle and Americas second best selling pickup, the 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The new Chevy Silverado 1500 is a smooth ride with comfortable seats and powerful V8 options.
The new 2013 model of the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 comes with little changes from previous models. The new Silverado 1500 comes in three new color variants comprising White Diamond Tricoat, Blue Topas and Deep Ruby metallic. Other noticeable changes are a new set of all terrain tyres, deluxe chrome package, cargo management system rails and overhead utility rack.
The 2013 Silverado is both longer and wider than the previous models with a payload capacity of 1,940 lbs. It comes in 4 versions with different engine capacities and nice handing.
The Chevy Silverado 1500 uses V8 engines which generates 295, 315 and 367 horsepower and plenty of torque. This enables it maintain strong acceleration and heavy towing capacity. The 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 rather unfortunately, only uses an automatic transmission.
