The revolution of Green Printing

The revolution of Green Printing
For years now printer makers have been looking forward to develop more green printing technologies as they are aware that the environment really needs to be taken care of before it’s too late. That’s why makers have thrived to solve this issue.
And one of the solutions is the use of wax based inks. This new kind of consumables allow printing services providers not just to provide high quality prints but also leaves them with absolutely nothing to throw away after the printing process is complete.

This is because the ink comes in blocks that are inserted in the printer, melt inside and leave no nothing to throw away. More and more printer makers are moving towards this technology that also provides super high quality results in banner printing, flyer printing and most custom printing applications.

The very idea is that the wax based ink is transferred to the paper and then a sealing layer is applied in order to add not just brightness but also to seal the ink and avoid leaks when the paper comes out. The result is a vinyl-like print that looks astonishing.

But what about costs? There’s nothing to worry about as printer makers are looking forward not just to provide low prices for this consumables but also to make them in different sizes so the end user can choose the amount of ink to purchase based on the job at hand.

Also these need breed of printers will not need the same amount of maintenance normal printers require which will also save time and effort. By the way, these printers also work with the same four color matrix that most printers use (cyan, magenta, yellow and black).

If you have questions or want to share your experiences by having had something printed on this equipment or use one, please don’t hesitate to write us, we really want to hear from you. Until next time!
