Christmas is a great time of sharing and showing love and its a always exciting to have the opportunity to share with loved ones. However, in choosing a Christmas gift, you should try to present a gift that will be appreciated.
You know Christmas happens once a year and if you are not satisfied with your gift or if you get the feeling your gift is not appreciated, you will have to wait till another year to 'upgrade'.
In essence, when selecting a gift for Christmas, it will be better to present a gift to someone with what you know he/she likes or has interest in. A more sophisticated version of that preferably. This will save you the stress of gambling. Try to keep the recipient in mind. Creativity is also nice, but you have to think it through before making your decision.
Note that apart from the gifts, you should also enclose a Christmas card to your gift. Some substitute Christmas cards for gifts or vice versa which is awful. You should enclose a loving Christmas card with your gift. Nothing beats the sweet feeling of reading a handmade Christmas card with heartfelt and personal good wishes to your friends and dear ones. Joe Johnson makes Celtics’ Pierce fall down with low crossover
Dang... That was dirty.. lol
With Brooklyn Nets leading 74-65 and a little more than eight minutes left in the fourth quarter, Johnson isolated on Pierce on the right angle. As Pierce closed in to defend against a pull-up three-pointer, Johnson dribbled the ball back-and-forth from his right hand to his left hand, before going low, executing a series of mini-dribbles just off the hardwood. As Pierce reached down to disrupt the dribbling, Johnson sprang into action, crossing from left to right and stepping into a mid-range jumper, which he knocked down over Jason Terry. Pierce was left grasping for air in a stumbling attempt to avoid falling to his knees.
Verizon best, AT&T America’s worst carrier - Consumer Reports
Consumer Reports issues its U.S. carrier rankings ahead of the holidays each year. And like like always, AT&T finds itself at the back of the pack. The non-profit consumer buying guide issued its rankings this Thursday for 2012 and again, AT&T again finds itself at the bottom of Consumer Reports’ overall list. The nation’s No.2 carrier did have the best-ranked 4G LTE network despite Verizon’s coverage lead, however. Verizon was the highest-rated U.S. carrier in Consumer Reports’ 2012 rankings.
Do you agree with this report? Has your AT&T been fair to you (if you are a user).

2 winners for record $579.9 million Powerball jackpot in Arizona, Missouri
Damnn.. That's All we can say! We wish it was us. Did you play the Powerball? Are you in Arizona, Missouri? This may be good for you.
Powerball officials say the record jackpot has been won. A whopping $579.9 million Officials Thursday morning, confirmed that two winning tickets were sold: One in Arizona and one in Missouri. An additional 8,924,123 players won smaller prizes. Numbers drawn Wednesday night are: 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and Powerball of 6. A lottery official said late Wednesday that the jackpot increased to $579.9 million by the time of the drawing, making the cash option $379.8 million.[Freep]
Two Powerball tickets worth $1 million each were sold in Michigan, according to the Michigan Lottery. The Lottery said the tickets matching five numbers drawn Wednesday night but not the Powerball were sold at a liquor store in the Grand Rapids suburb of Kentwood and a CVS pharmacy in the Detroit suburb of Dearborn.
The drawing the Multi-State Lottery Association’s prize followed 16 consecutive drawings that produced no top winner, boosting the Powerball to the second-largest potential lottery payout in U.S. history.
Tickets were selling Wednesday at a rate of 130,000 a minute nationwide, the jackpot enticing many people who rarely, if ever, play the lottery. It was not clear whether the winning tickets belonged to individuals or were purchased by groups.
Arizona lottery officials said early Thursday morning they had no information on that state's winner or winners but would announce where it was sold during a news conference later in the day.
Lottery officials in Missouri did not immediately respond to phone messages and emails seeking comment. Some experts had predicted that if one ticket hit the right numbers, chances were good that multiple ones would.
That happened in the Mega Millions drawing in March, when three ticket buyers shared a $656 million jackpot, which remains the largest lottery payout of all time. And it happened again for Wednesday's Powerball drawing.

False Facebook Copyright Warning Goes Viral
Did you get the warning too?
Facebook has insisted that its users keep full copyright of their photos and videos after a hoax warning went viral. Tens of thousands of people are now thought to have copy-and-pasted a statement onto their timeline, asserting full copyright over their posted content.[Skynews]
The viral post reads: "Facebook is now an open capital entity. All members are recommended to publish a notice like this, or if you prefer, you may copy and paste this version.
"If you do not publish a statement at least once, you will be tacitly allowing the use of elements such as your photos, as well as the information contained in your profile status updates."
Users then attach a 50-word statement saying: "In response to the new Facebook guidelines, I hereby declare that my copyright is attached to all of my personal details, illustrations, comics, paintings, professional photos and videos, etc. (as a result of the Berner Convention). For commercial use of the above my written consent is needed at all times!"
But Facebook spokesman Andrew Noyes said its users had nothing to worry about.
"We have noticed some statements that suggest otherwise and we wanted to take a moment to remind you of the facts - when you post things like photos to Facebook, we do not own them," he said.
"Under our terms, you grant Facebook permission to use, distribute, and share the things you post, subject to the terms and applicable privacy settings."
Facebook’s frequently asked questions section also specifically addresses the point of law.
It says: "Yes, you retain the copyright to your content. When you upload your content, you grant us a licence to use and display that content."
While copyright fears appear to be unfounded, Facebook does collect large amounts of data about its users.
It knows when you look at another person's timeline, send or receive a message, and the time, date and place where your photos were taken.
If you log on or post from a smartphone it can pinpoint where you are, while if you access the site from a computer it records the IP address you are using.
All of this can be released as a result of a valid court order in the UK, or a subpoena in the United States, as part of a civil or criminal investigation.
Facebook says it "stores data for as long as it is necessary to provide products and services to you and others".
This means that most information associated with an account will be kept until the account is deleted.
Google Play reviews now requires a Google+ name and photo
Google has instituted a policy change that requires anyone who wants to review any app in the Android app store also known as 'Google Play' to use their Google+ account with a photo, a rule change that ties reviews to a user's real name and public identity. A new version of Google Play is rolling out to Android devices now, but the change has already been implemented in the Google Android store.
When attempting to leave a comment on an app in Google Play, users are warned that going forward,
"Reviews you write will be posted publicly using your Google+ name and picture. Your name on previous reviews will appear as 'A Google User.'"An official reason for the change has not been given yet, but it's likely meant to curb spam or unhelpful and vindictive reviews. Developers have often claimed that they believe some users give negative reviews for perceived slights or because they are tied to a competitor, and this might be Google's way of cleaning up the comments in Google Play. It is believed that someone will be more respectful and fair when their comments are tied to their name rather than an anonymous pseudonym.
A similar rational was cited when Google+ required members to use their full legal names online, though removing the cloak of anonymity has not prevented Google+ members from being disrespectful or creating second accounts that are not tied to their identity.

Halle Berry's Ex Gabriel Aubry Hospitalized After Fight With Her Fiance
Lmao... This is Hilarious, we think that may be the reason Harry had to get herself a stronger man. Come on son!
Halle Berry's ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, was taken to a hospital and then arrested after a fistfight with the actress' current fiance, Olivier Martinez.
Harry Berry's new boyfriend Martinez, don't joke with him. Word to Gabby
[ABC]The fight broke out between the men at Berry's home just before 10 a.m. today, reported ABC News station KABC in Los Angeles. Aubry was taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in L.A. with fractured ribs and bruising to his face.Martinez injured his hand and neck but the extent of his injuries was unclear, KABC reported. It was unclear what started the fight, but Los Angeles police told KABC that Martinez "apparently gave back more than Gabriel dished out."After the hospital treatment, police held Aubry on a charge of misdemeanor battery, with bail set at $20,000, Los Angeles Police Sgt. Mike Odle told ABC News Radio.Berry saw the beginning of the fight when Aubry pushed Martinez, according to KABC, and then she left to call 911. Berry and Aubry's daughter, Nahla, 4, did not witness any of the fight.Afterwards, a judge issued an emergency protective order to keep Aubry at least 100 yards away from Berry, Martinez and Nahla until Dec. 3, KABC reported. The 46-year-old Berry recently endured a difficult custody battle with the 36-year-old Aubry.Earlier this month, a judge denied the actress' request to move to France with Nahla - a court victory for Aubry. He argued the move to France would have been punitive and was designed to stop him from having contact with his daughter.
Demi Moore delaying divorce from Ashton Kutcher
Gotta let that man go Demi. Ha!
Several celebrity gossip sites are reporting that Demi Moore has deliberately delayed her divorce from Ashton Kutcher because she's angry about his relationship with Mila Kunis.[Theoaklandpress]
Moore, 50, split with Kutcher, 34, a year ago after six years of marriage. He allegedly cheated on her with a 22-year-old woman he met on a trip. Kunis was Kutcher's co-star in "That 70's Show," and the two started dating during the summer.
"Demi has instructed her attorneys to delay negotiations as much as possible," a "close source" told RadarOnline.
Moore, who previously used the name @MrsKutcher on Twitter, had a breakdown after the couple split, reportedly telling a friend that no man would love her. She has appeared painfully thin and disheveled in photos as recently as this week.

Obama's Favorability Rating Hit Three-Year High
President Barack Obama's favorability rating has climbed after re-election to its highest point in more than years, mirroring his uptick in approval rating after winning re-election.
Obama's favorability has reached 58 percent in a Gallup poll released over the weekend, his best mark since a July 2009 reading found him at 66 percent. Overall, he has lost 10 points of favorability since first being elected in 2008 — and 20 points since his inauguration.
Obama is currently in Burma
At its low point, the president's approval rating had ticked below 50 percent in late 2010. The favorability measure is another step in what appears to be a well-rounded post-election bump for the president. Last Monday, Obama's approval rating in the Rasmussen daily tracking poll hit 54 percent, its highest in more than three years.

GoDaddy and Bluehost ranked Best Web Hosting 2012
Forget the reviews, both Go Daddy and Bluehost have been ranked officially as 2012 Best Web Hosting Rankings published this week by Foerster Digital. The rankings are among the most comprehensive and data-driven rankings available and are based on 19 ranking factors such as number of domains registered, average user ratings, Twitter and Facebook followings, and price.
The rankings are a project of Foerster Digital and are published on http://www.best-web-hosting.com.
CEO John Foerster says the rankings are an important step toward making sense for consumers of the rapidly growing and increasingly complex hosting industry.
"We felt there was a real need for this," say Foerster Digital CEO John Foerster. "There are no existing hosting reviews sites or overall rankings of this quality for the hosting industry."
The rankings are based on 19 objective ranking factors designed to measure popularity, growth, and overall user experience. All ranking factors are averaged to achieve a single ranking score for each company.
The 2012 Rankings cover 26 of the largest and best-known hosting companies. GoDaddy tops the ranking list in the number one spot, with Bluehost, Hostgator, Siteground, and iPage rounding out the top five. Although Bluehost finished second in the rankings, it was chosen as the overall Editor's Pick.
"We think consumers would be well served with any of the top five companies," Foerster said.
The 2012 Best Web Hosting Rankings also differ from past studies on the basis of transparency.
"We made an effort to make the rankings as transparent as possible," added Foerster. "We've provided links to the data, a detailed description of our methodology, and a discussion of the limitations. Anyone can see and judge the basis of the rankings."
Foerster says that the company will update the rankings each year, and hopes to improve next year's rankings through use of direct surveys to obtain data that's not otherwise publicly available.

Gov. Perry doesn't want Texas to secede
Texas Gov. Rick Perry doesn't want his state to break away from the United States, according to his response to a secession petition posted on the White House website. Perry spokeswoman Catherine Frazier sent a statement to The Dallas Morning News, following reports that there are have been dozens of similar petitions filed via the "We the People" program. "Gov. Perry believes in the greatness of our Union and nothing should be done to change it," Frazier's statement says.
"But he also shares the frustrations many Americans have with our federal government. Now more than ever our country needs strong leadership from states like Texas."
Petitions seeking secession for more than two dozen states have been filed on the White House website asking the Obama administration to "peacefully grant" these states withdrawal so they can create their own government. The Texas petition was filed on Friday and had more than 70,000 signatures as of Tuesday morning.
To get a White House response, the rules of "We the People" states a petition must get 25,000 signatures within 30 days. It appears as though the Louisiana petition also meets that threshold and the Florida petition is getting there. Some readers may recall the big uproar over Perry's comments following a Tea Party rally in 2009. It's been widely reported that Perry advocated secession, but Factcheck.org reported last year that is incorrect. The Republican governor was expressing his frustration at the federal government in the 2009 interview with the Associated Press.
"There is absolutely no reason to dissolve it," Perry said in response to the AP's question about being associated with secession. "But if Washington continues to thumb their nose at the American people, you know, who knows what may come out of that? But Texas is a very unique place and we're a pretty independent lot to boot."

Nexus 4 Smartphone Sold Out In U.K. Within Minutes Of Going On Sale
Google's latest smartphone, the Nexus 4, has sold out in the U.K., within 30 minutes of going on sale.
The 4.7-inch Android device went on sale in the U.K. on Tuesday, alongside Google's two latest tablets, the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 -- and it looks like the devices are proving popular.
According to reports on Twitter, some customers found that stocks of lowest priced Nexus 4, the 8GB version, were bought up within a mere 15 minutes of going on sale. Google has also started selling a $20 bumper for the Nexus 4.
The reason for this accessory’s existence has nothing to do with weak signal issues – that was what the iPhone 4′s bumper case was supposed to fix. The Nexus 4 is made by LG, and — in addition to running the very latest iteration of Google’s Android OS, 4.2 Jelly Bean — it packs a 4.7 inch display and a 1.5GHz quad-core chip.
In the U.K. its price-tag starts at £240 for the 8GB version — which effectively means you’re getting a high-end 3G device for a mid-range price.
The Nexus 10 tablet however is made by Samsung, powered by its Exynos 5 dual-core chip. Its biggest boast is a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600. Its price-tag starts at £320 for the 16GB version.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified interview with Studio Founder
Call of Duty drops today. One of the biggest names in gaming makes its PS Vita debut today. Developed exclusively for the system, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified strives to offer the full blockbuster COD multiplayer experience on your handheld, alongside a bespoke mission-based single player campaign that serves as a companion piece to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on PlayStation 3. Considering the series has one of the fiercest and most passionate fanbases of any major franchise, it’s safe to say that developer Nihilistic Software has taken on a huge responsibility. PlayStation crew sat down with studio founder Robert Huebner to discover how it’s dealt with the pressure and what players can expect from the title. Here are some few parts of the interview
What was your mission statement for Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified when you first began development?
Robert Huebner: There were three core pillars that we wanted to follow. The reward structure was one – keeping the rich set of XP rewards for special kills, the Challenges tracking system in multiplayer, and so on. The second goal was, for single player missions, to capture the unique feel of short objective-based missions, where the player wants to replay the mission repeatedly to improve their time and score, effectively trying to achieve that “perfect run.” And finally, we wanted to make sure that all the core multiplayer systems were kept intact from Call of Duty, so that playing a multiplayer match on the PS Vita was just as feature-rich as playing on console. So keeping things like Killstreaks, custom load-outs, ranks and perks was a top priority.
What did you learn from your experience developing Resistance: Burning Skies?
Robert Huebner: I think the biggest shift we made between the two was how we approached the single player mode. In Resistance, we tried to create a full story-driven single player mode that was similar to what players would get in a home console version, but ultimately, mobile players are looking for a different experience. Games like Unit 13 showed how a single player mode could be more mission-based and be effective and suitable for mobile play styles. We still wanted the single player to explore more of the Call of Duty lore, but we also realised that trying to out-story the console versions was not the right approach.
Call of Duty is one of the biggest entertainment brands out there – have you been feeling the pressure of satisfying the fan base and adhering to the franchise’s stamp of quality?
Robert Huebner: Every product carries with it a lot of pressure, and Call of Duty in particular because of the size of the fan base. But many of the development team are also avid fans, so it was easy to determine which features were the most important to achieve the unique feel of Call of Duty in general, and in particular what features were must-have to make multiplayer feel right.
Which elements of the game are you most proud of, and excited for gamers to experience?
Robert Huebner: I think the controls feel very faithful to Call of Duty. Obviously some adjustments had to be made – for example, replacing some of the Dual Shock buttons with touch controls – but any skilled Call of Duty player should feel right at home with the controls.
Can you explain exactly how the single player component is structured? Is there a single story to follow? Will we see any familiar faces?
Robert Huebner: Single Player Operations are a blend of story missions and short objective-based missions. They are tight, fast-paced and meant to be replayed to get higher scores and better times. Similar to story missions, they weave together and tell a story, including cinematic moments that feature dialogue and reveals. And yes, familiar characters do appear, and the story fleshes out the events that take place between Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.[PlayStation]
Meanwhile some blogs are reporting that some of the copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 have Mass Effect 2 on the second disc
Gamers on the Steam community forums, Reddit and the Call of Duty forums are reporting that when they try to install disc 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, they instead get Mass Effect 2. So that’s what Treyarch meant when they said they were adding moral choices to the campaign.
Early reports were confirmed when PCGamesN discovered a video by zeroiez showing him inserting a CoDBlOps2 disc into his machine before getting a prompt to install BioWare’s Mass Effect 2 instead
So far the error seems to have affected a relatively small number of people, but if you’re one of them your best bet is to use your CD key to download the game directly from Steam instead. I hope your internet is up to the task.

Women reach orgasm more easily when their lover’s manhood exceeds 5.8 inches - Research
A Scottish report claims size does not really matter? Do you believe it? I don't think I do! lol
'Male anxiety about penis size may not reflect internalized, culturally arbitrary masculine stereotypes but an accurate appreciation that size matters to many women,' says researcher.
Call it the battle of the bulge — it turns out size does matter in bed.
Scottish psychologists studied the sexual appetites of 323 women and found that most reach orgasm more easily when their lover's manhood exceeds the average size of 5.8 inches.
“This might be due . . . to greater ability of a longer penis to stimulate the entire length of the vagina and the cervix,” researcher Stuart Brody, a psychologist at the University of West Scotland, told the website Live Science.
Brody said the research showed that women who had sex with well-endowed partners had the most vaginal orgasms. He added, “Male anxiety about penis size may not reflect internalized, culturally arbitrary masculine stereotypes but an accurate appreciation that size matters to many women.”[NYDailyNews]

Google Doodle celebrates Auguste Rodin on his 172nd birthday
Google today replaced its logo on its homepage with an illustration depicting Auguste Rodin's famous sculpture The Thinker.
Rodin, born in Paris in 1840, is widely believed to be the founder of modern sculpture.A traditional sculptor who eschewed the predominant figure sculpture tradition of the times, Rodin's work was initially unpopular, but gained momentum over the course of his life until he was a world-renowned artist by the time he reached his 60s.Born into a working-class family, Rodin failed three times to win entrance to the Grand École art college in Paris.
His rejection was a significant setback, and after his sister died five years later, when he was 22, he turned away from art, briefly joining a Catholic order.
There the abbot encouraged him to devote his life to art, and he went on to work for the sculptor Albert Ernest Carrier-Belleuse.
At the same time he met his life partner Rose Beuret, who he did not marry until 1917, the year of his death.
His early work was notable for its engagement with the human body and celebration of physicality.
His style never changed throughout his career and his work gradually became more and more popular until he became the preeminent French sculptor of his time.
The first Google Doodle appeared in 1998 when the search engine's founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page replaced the logo with a picture of a Burning Man, to notify the world that they had gone on holiday to the Burning Man Festival.

Phil Jackson contacted For Lakers Coaching Job after Mike Brown's sack
The Lakers have officially contacted Phil Jackson to gauge his interest in coaching them, The Times has learned. We know the man’s resume. Phil Jackson has 11 championships, five with of them with the Lakers. After Mike Brown was fired, the Lakers front office realized that they don’t have much of a window left with this current team. The Laker fans echoed this sentiment, as they were chanting, “We Want Phil!” during their game earlier against the Warriors. And Dwight Howard agreed as well; he wants Phil Jackson back with the Lakers.

Walmart's Black Friday starts 8 pm on Thanksgiving: Top Black Friday Myths
Walmart's Black Friday 2012 Starts 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Walmart Black Friday 2012 sales and deals give shoppers extra time on Thanksgiving to beat the traditional rush the next day. Shoppers this holiday season can expect deep discounts on popular , consoles, desktops, video games, PCs, smart phones, tablets, etc.
Doc McStuffins tops the list for girl toys this year and Walmart has it in stock. This one will go fast, so claim your spot in line at a store near you. This year, Walmart is hosting several in-store events to get your holiday blood boiling. The first Black Friday Walmart event begins at 8 p.m. sharp. Mens' and womens' jeans are on sale for $9.50. Wii consoles sell for only $89 and home appliances like coffee makers and crock pots are less than $10.
In the spirit of Black Friday 2012 season, Yahoo debunks some of the popular Black Friday myths. Read below.
Thanksgiving is right around the corner. For some people this means family, food and football. But for others it means just one thing: shopping.
Black Friday has become synonymous with fire sales and door-buster deals. Shoppers often camp out Thanksgiving night to take advantage of great deals on hot items when stores open at the crack of dawn Friday morning.
Unfortunately, a lot of savvy shoppers fall prey to common Black Friday myths, says Lindsay Sakraida, features director of Dealnews.com. She stopped by The Daily Ticker to debunk some common Black Friday lore, including the following:
- Black Friday sales begin on Black Friday "Not true," says Sakraida. "I'm sure that a lot of people have heard that stores are even opening on Thanksgiving now." Each year, sales get earlier and earlier, if you wait until Black Friday to start shopping you'll miss out on some great deals. There's no longer any need to leave holiday festivities early in order to hit the mall.
- Cyber Monday sales offer better deals than Black Friday "Cyber Monday may release different deals, ones that are especially for Cyber Monday, but most of the best deals will come on Thanksgiving and Black Friday," explains Sakraida. If a shopper decides to wait until Cyber Monday, many of the deals available on Black Friday will have already sold out.
- You must camp out on Black Friday to get the best deals Stores typically have 10 or less hot ticket times, Sakraida tells The Daily Ticker. Even if you do camp out, the chances of getting one of these teaser items is slim to none. Catch up on sleep and spend time with your family instead of waiting in front of a store all night, she suggests.
- Black Friday sales are unsafe Every year there are stories of trampling and fights breaking out over sale items during the Black Friday rush. These tales are exceedingly rare and hyped up according to Sakraida.
- Everything is at its lowest price of the year on Black Friday "It's very important to do some price checking. Do a little bit of homework before you actually buy anything," says Sakraida. While stores will have huge sales, a lot of the items are "fillers" that have been on sale for less throughout the year.
- No one can match Black Friday deals Best Buy (BBY) and Target (TGT) have Black Friday price matching policies in place, if you can find a better deal they'll lower their own prices. This includes online retailers like Amazon.com (AMZN).
[Yahoo/Examiner]
- You can return Black Friday purchases "You can almost consider many of these items final sale clearance products," says Sakraida. The reason these items are so cheap is that stores really want to get rid of them; they don't want to have to take back the items at a later date. Don't go overboard on shopping, as you will be permanently stuck with the bill for whatever you purchase.

Obama congratulates Romney on "spirited campaign"
U.S. President Barack Obama congratulated Republican rival Mitt Romney on Tuesday for running a hard-fought race for the White House and expressed confidence he would win re-election during a stop at a local campaign office to thank volunteers.
"I ... want to say to Governor Romney congratulations on a spirited campaign. I know that his supporters are just as engaged and just as enthusiastic and working just as hard today," Obama said as volunteers made phone calls encouraging supporters to get to the polls."We feel confident we've got the votes to win, but it's going to depend ultimately on whether those votes turn out. And so I would encourage everybody on all sides just to make sure that you exercise this precious right that we have that people fought so hard for us to have."
Obama made calls to volunteers from the campaign office to thank them for working for his re-election.
"I expect that we'll have a good night, but no matter what happens, I just want to say how much I appreciate everybody who supported me, everybody who's worked so hard on my behalf," he said.
Opinion polls show Obama and Romney in a virtual dead heat, although the Democratic incumbent has a slight advantage in several vital swing states that could give him the 270 electoral votes needed to win the state-by-state contest.
Traditionally presidential candidates get media attention on Election Day by going to vote. But Obama cast his ballot in Chicago last month - part of his campaign's push to get its supporters to vote early.
So the president's visit to the office gave him a chance to get in front of the cameras, generate news coverage and encourage turnout.
Obama and Romney, a former Massachusetts governor and private equity executive, have fought a largely negative campaign. Obama's team attacked Romney for his business record, and Romney's team criticized the president for presiding over high unemployment and a slow economic recovery.
Obama's conciliatory comments represent the close of the bitter campaign and could appeal to last-minute undecided voters, who are turned off by the lack of bipartisanship in Washington.
In addition to his campaign office stop, Obama is doing a round of interviews and is expected to play basketball with friends, a tradition for the sports-loving president on Election Day.

Philadelphia Eagles' Problems Not Down to Troubled Quarterback - Michael Vick
After another big loss, the Philadelphia Eagles are 3-5. After the loss to the New Orleans Saints, Andy Reid was quick to defend his quarterback, stating that Michael Vick would still be the starter next week.[Bleacherreport]
A lot of people have pointed to Vick as the main reason for the Eagles' struggles this season. While Vick may be part of it, it certainly can't all fall on him.
The Eagles have been underachieving for the last two years. They put together their "dream team" last year and have looked more like a nightmare since.
Vick hasn’t been the best QB, with nine interceptions and four fumbles in the first half of the season, but there is a lot more wrong with Philly than one QB.
The Eagles are losing for a number of reasons, but one of the main reasons is the defense. The Eagles defense looks decent on paper, ranking 15th in passing yards allowed and 16th in rushing yards allowed, but the issue isn’t the yards allowed.
The main issue with the Eagles defense is that they’re letting other teams hang around. Only one game this season has been decided by more than two possessions. The Eagles are always right there, but they just can’t get it done late in the game.
However, this isn’t all on the defense, either. The big issue for the Eagles is that they stay right with teams all game. This puts a lot of pressure on the offense and defense, who are forced to make one or two big plays late in the game.
If Philly’s offense could make big plays throughout the game, they wouldn’t have to deal with all of the pressure in the red zone at the end of the game. If the defense could perform well through the whole game, it wouldn’t come down to one or two possessions in the fourth quarter.
The Eagles just haven’t had the killer instinct this season to go out and beat a team (except the Cardinals). The Eagles are playing close games that could go either way and are finding themselves on the losing end due to a few bad plays. Every week it seems like a new unit isn’t showing up.
For example, it was the offensive line on Sunday night against New Orleans. The Saints sacked Vick seven times. Vick was running for his life all night, which caused bad throws on a few occasions.
The Eagles are struggling this season, but that isn’t all Vick’s fault. The Eagles are playing poorly as a team. Sitting Vick down would just hurt Philly that much more
Meanwhile, Vick also was not happy when he heard about his brother's Twitter rant after his team's loss to the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football.
When Michael was told about the comments by a reporter, he sounded disappointed. From CSNPhilly.com:
"He tweeted that during the game? I'm sorry. I'm unaware of that. That's something I'm really going to have to address once I leave here. We're out there fighting as hard as we can, giving it everything we've got, and that's certainly not the case. I love each and every guy in that locker room, and if I could make every play right I would. I know they would do the same, so that's certainly not the case."
Foods to Lose weight: Superfoods
Trying to lose weight? Learn how weight loss foods like nuts, berries and whole grains that are full of fiber, protein and important nutrients can help you lose weight quickly. Also check out this resource of the best weight loss suplements available for an effective weight loss.
[CNN]When you're on a diet, food consumes your life. You can't eat carbohydrates, so you think about them constantly. You can't dig into your co-worker's candy drawer, so M&M's float across your computer screen like a desert mirage. You skip the bar after work because that's where the margaritas live. And forget snacking after 8 p.m.; that would be breaking diet rule No. 364."I've hated diets all my life," says Lucy Danziger, who is ironically the author of weight-loss book, "The Drop 10 Diet.""If I tell you 'Don't think about this,' that's all you can think about."What if losing weight didn't have to be so negative? As the editor-in-chief of SELF magazine for more than 10 years, Danziger has seen every fad diet known to woman come across her desk. Then, five years ago, the triathlete decided to ditch dieting all together and focus on choosing foods that would "pay her back." She wanted to run, swim and bike faster, and she needed the proper fuel to do that.Danziger started eating superfoods: foods like nuts, berries and whole grains that are full of fiber, protein and important nutrients. In less than six months, she dropped 25 pounds. It's certainly not a new nutrition concept: Avoid processed foods; eat more vegetables and fruits; replace white bread with wheat. But the idea of focusing on what you should eat, instead of what you can't, could change the way we look at weight loss in America, Danziger says."We're going to give you so many choices of what you can eat, you're not thinking about starvation. ... You're thinking about feeding the engine."Danziger is big on metaphors. As she noshes on almonds in her office, she compares superfoods to premium gas for a car. "They have to do more than supply you with calories."So what makes a food "super"?Dr. Steven Pratt coined the term in 2004 with his first book, "SuperFoods Rx: Fourteen Foods That Will Change Your Life."According to Pratt, a superfood has three qualifications: It has to be readily available to the public, it has to contain nutrients that are known to enhance longevity, and its health benefits have to be backed by peer-reviewed, scientific studies.Pratt lists salmon, broccoli, spinach, berries and green tea as a few of his favorites. His website, SuperFoodsRx.com, gives 20 more examples."These foods were chosen because they contain high concentrations of crucial nutrients, as well as the fact that many of them are low in calories," the website states. "Foods containing these nutrients have been proven to help prevent and, in some cases, reverse the well-known effects of aging, including cardiovascular disease, Type II Diabetes, hypertension and certain cancers."Weight loss wasn't on Pratt's agenda when he started supporting superfoods. Yet as he traveled around the world touting the brand, that's what people were excited about."The most common thing I hear is how much weight people lost without trying to lose weight," Pratt says. "It's the non-diet diet. It's food you can eat for a lifetime."Marisa Moore, a registered dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, says superfoods are healthy, but adding them to your plate won't simply melt the pounds away."Yes, there are foods that are high in fiber, water and protein, and therefore promote satiety. ... These are without a doubt recommended as weight-management friendly," Moore wrote in an e-mail. "But to say that they boost fat loss may be taking it a step too far."Danziger agrees: Superfoods aren't a free pass to eat as much as you want, whenever you want. Still, it would be pretty difficult to get fat eating spinach. For Danziger, eating superfoods is about energy. She feels super after eating superfoods. She wants to work out, which in turn helps her sleep better, which gives her more energy and keeps her diet on track.Pratt says that feeling is what keeps the superfoods trend strong."The better you feel, the more you do it. Your body will send an e-mail to your brain within minutes thanking it, saying, 'I'm going to do better. I'm not going to get sick anymore.' "After joking about injecting that feeling into his patients, Pratt turns serious. He's been pushing superfoods since the mid-1990s, and still obesity rates and obesity-related disease rates are sky-high in America.Pratt attributes most of that to the culture: It takes time and energy to make a change. Danziger says cost is certainly an issue for some people. But both experts agree the reward is worth it in the long run."At the end of the day, you invest in your wardrobe and your hair and your car and everything else," Danziger says. "So invest in your body. Because it's supposed to last for 100 years."
